Outlook (with Exchange) gives you the ability to share a calendar or contacts folder with someone else in your organization. This can be done entirely without admin intervention. Also you can control whether the sharing is read-only or read-write.
(Part 2 of 2)
1. Make sure the other person has shared with you
(see ”How to share your calendar / contacts with another person)
http://systemstuff.wordpress.com/2008/09/25/tech-tip-outlook-how-to-share-your-calendar-contacts-with-another-person/
2. Open your calendars (or contacts)
Click on Go… Calendar (or Go… Contacts)
Then click ‘Open a Shared Calendar’ (or ’Open Shared Contacts’)
Choose the name from the Global Address List
Note: You can also choose File… Open… Other Users Folder
3. That’s it
Both Calendars will appear (according to the checkboxes on the left)
